The amount of WiFi networks and their respective signal strengths determine the generation of a abstract visualization. This is then overlayed on the space by the means of a simple heads-up display - a computer screen is reflected in a sheet of plexiglas within a viewing box that is capable of 120degree rotation.

This is a system that attempts to illustrate the invisible electromagnetic fields that we create around ourselves. It is also a way to capture the manifestation of our immediate, personal communication and by extension contemporary cultural life that is facilitated by this invisible but vast and pervasive eletromagnetic smog which now encircles the globe.
