Errosive v0.1

A -currently quite crudely- simulated valley is presented on a screen or projection. The weather is created by processing the presence of wireless devices, people and general electro-magnetic smog and by the time of day, which reflects the actual time at the location of the installation.

The default weather, strong sunshine, is modified by the aforementioned factors - together they determine the amount of cloud-cover, rain, and direction and strength of wind, which in turn results in specific erosion of the landscape. Over time, this results in a distinctly modified landscape over the course of the installation.

Installed at the New Forms Festival 2010 in Vancouver BC

Movie of screengrabs made over the 8 day period of the installation
