As of December 2013 there are about 300 images in the series that started in early 2012 more or less incidentally by using a phone that had a physical button to activate the camera and flash LED.

i quickly started using it as a flashlight, and often would inadvertently trigger a snapshot. When i switched to a phone without direct access to this "flashlight" feature and the intriguing incidental images, i wrote a little app that would do exactly that.
