Organizer:
Telepolis is a project of Goethe-Institut Luxembourg in association with
"Luxembourg, Cultural City of Europe 1995." These institutions provide
its basic financial means.
Supporting Partners:

Fair Grounds (FIL) generously sponsors Telepolis by providing venues,
technology, and manpower.
The Service des Médias et de l'Audiovisuel at
the State Ministry of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg supports Telepolis
in terms of infrastructure and counseling.
The EU-Kommission DG XIII supports the Telepolis conferernces.
Siemens Kulturprogramm, being one of the project's financial backers, also supports it in logistical
and organizational matters.
Our main hardware-sponsors are Siemens AG,
Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG, and Hewlett-Packard.
The Burda-Academy of the Third
Millenium is our partner in organizing the conference "Cyberspace and the
Future of Cities."
Financed by Goethe Institute with means of the Foreign Ministry,
Telepolis is Germany's most significant contribution to "Luxembourg,
Cultural City of Europe 1995." Telepolis presents Luxembourg as an ideal
meeting place for media servers and media developers. Luxembourg's
strong position also shows in the integration of the project in
"Luxembourg, Cultural City of Europe 1995" and in the close cooperation
with various companies and public institutions in Luxembourg. Apart from
presenting most recent technological developments, the fair-like
exhibition will also illustrate the application of these developments in
urban life, thus taking part in Luxembourg's cultural events of 1995.
